Chris Arcus and John Kurtyka are the originators of our band Climate Strange. They have a commitment to allowing their free spirit to come out and express itself. This has led to their creation of many new compositions.

Both play a variety of instruments.
Chris often employs a deep beat with the guitar (both acoustic and electric) and the keyboard/piano. He spent several years playing jazz guitar previously. He often hears music in his dreams such as Native American Landscape and Lebanon–which then become amazing new compositions.

John Kurtyka plays a mean harmonica and flute. He too is known to create new compositions although a lot of his creativity goes into creating quirky, deeply felt yet often humorous lyrics which he sings soulfully. You think, did John actually say that? But it works. How bad it is somehow makes the listener feel good.

James Pollard plays an intense electric lead guitar. He sometimes does back-up with the keyboard.
James has spent years studying guitar and now, with Climate Strange, enjoys breaking the mold with new compositions or playing complex lyrical riffs with John’s flute or harmonica and Chris’s guitar beat or keyboard. He truly enjoys the freedom that Climate Strange brings to their music.
All three enjoy playing their completely original music together and sharing it with new audiences.
